Luton Town Supporters’ Trust (LTST) Youth Advisory Board offers young people between the ages of 16 to 30 the thrilling opportunity to embark on a 12-month mandate, discovering the function of the LTST with LTFC and networking with like-minded young people from the Luton Town Football Club Community. You don’t have to be a LTST member to apply but be prepared to join when submitting your application to join the YAB.
What is the Youth Advisory Board?
Over the past few years, engaging with youth supporters has become one of the top priorities of the LTST Board. It is a way to proactively seek the support of youth supporters through meaningful engagement and to ensure the Trust remains inclusive and forward-thinking.
The Youth Advisory Board objectives are to:
- Provide a voice for younger supporters in Trust decision-making
- Advise the Trust on how to better engage younger fans
- Help shape the campaigns, events and communication strategies through the eyes of a youth supporter
- Create a pipeline of future leaders within the Trust
What the Youth Advisory Board will do?
The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) members will serve a 12-month mandate. They will have a great opportunity to discover the influential work LTST does with the football club. They will have the opportunity to meet and network with football club players as well as key staff, broadening their own personal networks and horizons. Members of the YAB will actively participate in shaping the YAB by contributing to its activities and co-selecting priorities and topics to be addressed.
In short, YAB members will learn, engage, participate and shape activities on youth perspectives of Luton Town Supporters’ Trust with the football club and local community.
Who will be members of the Youth Advisory Board?
The YAB will be composed of 6 to 10 young people (aged 16-30) representing Luton Town Football Club young supporters. You do not have to be a LTST member to apply but would be prepared to join up when submitting your application to join the YAB.
How to become a Youth Advisory Board member?
The YAB will bring together a range of youth profiles and backgrounds, opinions and experiences, areas of interest and knowledge and socio-economic backgrounds
Members of the YAB will be selected via an online application process. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed, before the selection of up to 10 members is confirmed.
