Luton Town Supporters’ Trust is looking for young Hatters who want to have their say, share their ideas and help shape the future of the Trust.
We are launching our new Youth Advisory Board (YAB), giving younger supporters a structured voice within LTST and the opportunity to influence how the Trust engages with the next generation of Luton Town fans.
The YAB will be made up of six to ten young supporters aged 16–30, who will serve for 12 months. Its aim is simple: to make sure younger supporters are heard, while helping LTST remain inclusive, relevant and forward-thinking.
Have your say – and make a difference
As a member of the Youth Advisory Board, you won’t simply be asked to sit in meetings and listen. We want you to get involved.
YAB members will help advise LTST on youth-focused initiatives and the matchday experience, contribute ideas for social media, take part in fan forums and matchday events, run polls and surveys to find out what younger supporters think, and contribute to campaigns on subjects including ticket pricing, inclusion and mental health.
You’ll also get an insight into the work LTST does with Luton Town Football Club, with opportunities to meet and network with club players and key staff. Crucially, YAB members will help decide the Board’s own priorities and the issues it wants to address.
What are we looking for?
You don’t need years of experience or an impressive CV. We’re looking for young Luton Town supporters with ideas, enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.
You’ll need to be able to work as part of a team, think creatively and strategically, support equality, diversity and inclusion, and share an enthusiasm for the Trust’s vision and values. A member of the LTST Board will be there to support you throughout your time on the YAB.
The commitment is designed to be manageable. YAB meetings will take place online every other month, usually on a weekday evening between 7pm and 9.30pm, with occasional attendance at full Trust Board meetings at the Luton Town stadium. Members will also be expected to attend the Trust’s AGM.
Your Trust Needs You
If you’re aged 16–30 and want to help represent the views of younger Hatters, gain valuable experience and play a part in the future of Luton Town Supporters’ Trust, we’d love to hear from you.
Applications will be made online, with shortlisted applicants invited for an interview before the final YAB members are selected. We’re keen to bring together people with different backgrounds, experiences, opinions, interests and knowledge, so don’t assume this isn’t for you.
Successful candidates will be required to become a Trust Member, if they aren’t already.
This is your club, your Trust and your chance to have a voice.
