You may have seen an email circulated online over the weekend which was created by an anonymous group who call themselves ‘The 1885’.
The email contained a large number of questions for the investors of 2020 to answer and was sent to us. We received the email on Wednesday 25 February.
Although we don’t know who is behind ‘The 1885’ group, the email contained a number of questions and allegations which we feel supporters have a right to have answered.
A Trust board meeting was held on Thursday where this was discussed, and we have reached out to the investors named within the document for answers.
Clearly there is a large volume of questions and therefore a response will not be immediate, but we will continue to press on your behalf until we have the answers, which we will relay to you once we have them.
We believed the email to be confidential but now that it is in the public domain we are updating you on the ongoing process.
We will not be making any further comment on the email until such time as we receive answers from the investors which we can give to our members.
