“I have supported Luton Town since 1970 (first game Luton 4 Orient 0, 19th September 1970, MacDonald 2, Slough 2) and am Luton born and bred. I now live in Twyford near Reading Berkshire but have supported Luton all the way from 1970 so I have seen many ups and down or twists and turns as Mick Harford would say! My most enjoyable moment was seeing Luton win the penalty shoot-out against Coventry at Wembley on 27th May 2023 but I was a nervous wreck up to that point – it’s the Luton way. However, in the end I like many others had an out of body experience and did not sleep properly for a month. I have supported Luton through thick and thin and my worst moment was when my favourite player, Alan Slough, left for Fulham in 1973. Amazingly I dealt with everything else over the years but Alan leaving was a tough one to get over but of course I did in the end!”
