The Luton Town Supporters’ Trust is delighted to invite all Hatters supporters to join this Sunday’s Talking Hatters Zoom session, featuring special guest and former Luton Town defender Darren Salton.
A former Scotland Under-21 international, Darren made 18 first-team appearances for the Hatters over five seasons at Kenilworth Road. Sadly, his playing career was cut short after he sustained serious injuries in a car accident, leading to his retirement during the 1993–94 season.
The session will take place on Sunday 12 July, with supporters welcome to join from 6:30pm. Darren will be joining the meeting from 7:00pm until 8:00pm to share memories of his time at Kenilworth Road, reflect on his football career and discuss the challenges he has faced since retiring. There will also be an opportunity for supporters to ask Darren a few questions during the evening.
Talking Hatters is a friendly, informal peer support group where Hatters supporters can come together to talk, listen and support one another in a safe environment. While football often provides the starting point, the sessions are centred on mental health, wellbeing and tackling loneliness, with everyone welcome whether you’re a regular attendee or joining for the first time.
