Ian Stonham
“I was born in St Mary’s Hospital in 1948 and for the first two years of my life lived at 35 Wimborne Road. We then moved to Kensworth when in 1959 my Dad went to Wembley but he took the lodger instead of me! I never forgave him for that. My Dad took me to several home games in the late 50s but the one that stands out was the 1961 Cup match against Man City when Denis Law scored all six only for the game to be abandoned. My all-time favourite is Bruce Rioch with Malcolm Macdonald and Mick Harford close behind.”
