To celebrate Luton Town being in the Premier League for the first time, we asked LTFC commentator Simon Pitts to come up with a competition for Hatters’ fans throughout the upcoming season.
Simon took our request on board and we are delighted to announce his challenge, which will raise money for SoLYD and Beds Prostate Cancer Support Group, while giving you extra interest in this already potentially exciting upcoming campaign.
The Challenge is for you to predict the top six and the bottom three clubs in the English Premier League 2023/24 season. You will score points each week throughout the season. Each of your teams that feature in the top six or bottom three will score a point. You will get 3 points if your prediction is exactly right.
So if you pick Luton to finish top of the league and they are second to sixth at the end of the week you will score one point. If they are top you get three points.
Points will accumulate throughout the season, and the person with the most points at the end of the season will win.
In the event of a tie, the closest prediction of the number of goals Luton score throughout the season will determine the winner.
Entries into the challenge will cost £5 each. Your entry fee will be divided into two – with half going into the prize fund, and the remainder being shared equally between our supporters’ charity Beds Prostate Cancer Support Group and SoLYD (Supporters of Luton Youth Development).
Results will appear on the Luton Town Supporters’ Trust Twitter and Facebook pages, our website and a designated group.
