“I was Mascot against Portsmouth in 1972 (2-2) It was a night game and leading the team out of the tunnel into the lights was an amazing experience. Scoring during the Kick about to the cheers of the Oak road lives with me. I wrote to say thanks and they let me turn out again this time against Millwall in 1974 (3-0 ).
