Power Court Presentation Evening – Tuesday 17th May

Luton Town Supporters’ Trust gave our members the first public chance to see the plans the club have for the Power Court and Newlands Park developments on Tuesday night. About 150 members turned up at the Eric Morecambe Lounge to view the plans in picture and model format and take up the opportunity to ask questions about the project to Gary Sweet and the team of consultants and architects.

Those in attendance were given a hugely impressive and highly detailed outline of a potential stadium at Power Court as well as plans that are in place for the development at Junction 10 before a question and answer session took place to conclude the evening.

The presentation that was delivered was high in quality. The plans looked amazing for both the future of the football club and the development of the town of Luton as a whole and as a committee, Luton Town Supporters’ Trust are fully behind the project.

The evening was the first in a series of public consultations that Luton Town FC are running over the next two weeks. The details of the consultations can be found on the Official Club Website here.

WE WOULD STRONGLY URGE ANYONE WHO IS ABLE TO ATTEND THESE OPEN CONSULTATIONS TO DO SO. Go along, ask questions, find out all you want and need to know about the plans and if you approve give your full support and backing to them. Take friends, family members, neighbours and anyone else you know. This isn’t just for the club, this will be a fantastic development and regeneration for the town of Luton, one of the most exciting the town has ever seen.

As Luton Town fans we are known for giving our team the best support we can give it. We have made a big difference to those on the pitch on more occasions than we can remember. Now the board of directors and the team behind these plans need every bit of that support. The club have put in over three years of hard work into this project. Let’s not let their time and energy go to waste.

Our support could be the difference between planning permission being called in by the central Government and not. As a loyal fanbase we have the chance to make a real difference, to stand up, be proud of our town and our club and get right behind these plans. Attending the consultations and adding your support to them could just be the difference.

We hope to see you at either the Eric Morecambe, Venue Central or the Hat Factory in the coming days.

Thanks for your comment, Nathan Jones is working hard behind the scenes to get a squad capable of being promoted. There is an air of positivity across the Club right now that hopefully will be reflected on the pitch.
