“We will achieve what we want to do. We will go to the next level and the one after that”. Those were the promises delivered by Luton Town manager Nathan Jones when he met with supporters at the LTST Meet the Manager evening at the Eric Morecambe Lounge on Thursday night.
More than 100 Trust members and supporters packed into the Kenilworth Road venue on Thursday to get the opportunity to ask the Town gaffer their own question and pick the brains of the man tasked with taking Luton forward.
Jones gave his reflections on his spell as manager so far detailing the improvements the squad has made under his guidance and reiterating the goals for the remainder of the season before answering questions on subjects such as the origin of his passion, his scouting methods and his future in what was a thoroughly entertaining question and answer session.
The event was covered in full on our twitter feed – @lutontownst where you can find all the questions Nathan was asked along with the replies he provided to them.
Also on the evening we held a raffle which we are delighted to announce raised the huge total of £300. The proceeds of this will go to the supporters’ charity – Autism Bedfordshire.
There was also a bucket collection held on behalf of Nathan Jones and the sky dive he is going to do next month in aid of Level Trust, LTFC’s charity of the year. That raised a total of £200.42. If you would like to sponsor Nathan ahead of his jump you can do so by clicking here.
LTST would like to place on record our sincere gratitude to Nathan Jones for giving us a few hours of his time ahead of such an important game and to LTFC for allowing us to use the Eric Morecambe Suite.
